Let the Children Play
I saw a memory today it was part of tomorrow’s play…
Can we not change our plan?
Has our life become a clan?
Sometimes it just makes sense,
Not to fear recompense…
What is it we are doing?
It is only love we are pursuing,
Is it not man’s crime when he looks at another’s skin?
Have we not all been taught that this is a sin?
Every man, yes every child, are all the same below the surface,
Can we not see our differences, our distinctions, have a real purpose…
We have no right to prejudge our fellow man,
There is majesty in each human being,
There is not one that has no value,
No matter what we may be seeing.
Let the children play…
