Opine on Jazz
I may not be schooled in music;
My ears are connected to my heart.
When I hear the great composers,
Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, I hear Jazz...
It is my opinion that these great works
just exploded into a cosmic kind of, well
you know, groove...

I listened to Mozart and melted…
I took in a Mahler symphony, number 5,
I was surprised; he gave me some melody,
Then I listened to Mozart and melted…
I played some Bach, J.S. of course, toccata and fugue, brilliant,
Then I listened to Mozart and melted…
Poured a glass of chard, tuned in Chet Baker,
Loved the horn, the vocals were a gas,
Then I listened to Mozart and melted…
The Fab Four, just can’t turn them off,
Had to listen to every song,
Then I listened to Mozart and melted…
I can thank Hollywood and Mr. Hulce for that laugh,
You know, I think I can hear it after each piece,
Mozart’s young wife asked Salieri as he dropped the sheet music: “Is it not good?”
Salieri responded: “It is miraculous”…
He listened to Mozart and melted…
