Hunch
I am young, I think I know a thing or two,
I tell you I have a hunch,
I know if I just study men, yes examine their moves,
I can be the one, the one to make a difference…
I can change the tide…
It could be me, the kid with the hunch…
Why I could stop the wars!
Suppose I was able to feed them all, all the starving children…
How would it be to stave off disease…?
Call me the boy with the hunch.
O My... the years have passed,
I remember my youth, the idealism…
The boy with that hunch, the hunch that would change the world…
Now I am the old man with the hunch back,
Yes that is what I mean…
I am an old man with a hunchback,
Another dead idealist; with an all too conspicuous hunch.
