I Will Wait
I will wait...
The memories of the past will fall short,
They will not suffice,
They will not remove the gnawing...
A lifetime of Father and Son has been
shrunk down to days, to hours;
All the comfort, all the hugs and regards,
will simply not do enough...
I denounce the thought that "this is a part of life"...
This is just another casualty of rebellion;
There was never a place set aside for sorrow,
There was nowhere to be found for mourning.
Life was eternal; peace, joy and contentment
the purpose.
This was what "life" was to be,
It will be again,
It is for this "life" that I will wait,
And see him again...
