              I Heard A Racist Today *

 

There was a prominent woman running for high office,

She visited a man who was shot by police.

She said she was "Proud of him"...

That his family was an excellent one.

Yet this man was a rapist, a drunkard,

a domestic violence abuser, a thief...

His father speaks of hate,                                                                                                                                          

death to certain ethnic groups and supporters...

How can this family be praised?

Because they have the right color skin,

they fit the agenda of the party...

How can a woman defend the violation of women?

How can you be proud of that behavior?

You must be so power hungry that you have

no sense of what is right, remember innocence?

Why did you not visit the victim?

Please stop the madness, the hypocrisy...

Visit the real victim,

also visit the child who witnessed the vile cowardly act...

Stop praising wickedness because of color,

Don't you know? Have you not learned?

That is what racism is, it is not the color of one's skin that measures a man,

It is his character... stop the hypocrisy.
