So far mankind has not been able to charge for the air we breathe,
generally speaking. I'm sure there is a charge for the oxygen and such in the hospital room. However things like natural gas and fuel oil are certainly not free. Neither is water. Did you know that sometimes the water meter in our homes can be faulty?
If your water bill suddenly increases dramatically do not rule out that possibility. However it is usually a leaking faucet or a running toilet that can wreak havoc on the bill. Remember you should never hear any water running when it is not in use. You can check the small dial on your water meter to be sure it is not spinning even slightly. Be sure no one is using any water, take a bright light to the meter, there should be no movement at all, if there is you are wasting water. You must locate the source and remedy the situation, remember, take charge of water charges!
