Can you picture a future plumber at seven? I am sitting there in front of the T V, a Zenith, remember those? There is no H D, no cable, just an antenna on a roof in New England. I see yellow, gold and red leaves falling past my window. On the Zenith there is a football game, I see these wonderful colors: yellow and green, there is a big G on the helmets. I love these colors, I love this G. That’s my team!

    I am now a Green Bay Packer Fan for Life. We won the first two super bowls? Great, I had no idea. That ice bowl game was incredible! Vince Lombardi? Was he the greatest coach of all time? He was! Is that why the Super Bowl trophy is called the Lombardi trophy? It is!

   Every fall henceforth is celebrated with the N F L. Bring on the colors of leaves; bring on the crisp fall air. Bring on the yellow and green, there’s that big G, bring on the football! What is this? There is a counterfeit crew of refs? They are killing the fall. They will cost a team a game; it will be horrible; how can the owners allow this?

     What is this? The game has been stolen from the yellow and green? The team with the most championships; the team that won the first two Super Bowls; the team that had Vince Lombardi as coach; I am sick; I watched in horror a game being taken from the rightful winners: the team from Title Town U S A. What will become of the N F L?

   What has happened? The real refs have come back? You mean it’s because of the Packers being robbed? Sure it is. The only team in the N F L with the fans as the owners, the one that represents the pure team of class, the Lombardi team. They took the bullet, they gave the game. Now all this plumber can say is: Go Pack Go!
