Pex piping, also known as 'memory' plastic, has transformed plumbing applications into almost, dare I say, electrical work. Rather than using rigid copper tubing, plumbers are now able to run long lengths through walls and floor joists.This has cut down on labor time, (it has also caused the price of copper and solder to rise). This plumber at first, fought the trend. Then I thought about my aging back, knees etc. I am now a believer, it is a good product and has a very good track record, Pex is indeed, here to stay.
