This is just a reminder as we have covered this in the past: Whenever you as a consumer embark on any building project, be it plumbing, electrical, carpentry,etc. Be sure the contractor is licensed and registered with the state of Connecticut.If they are, the state provides you with insurance for shoddy work, if they are not licensed you are on your own.Your tax dollar provides this coverage, please demand to see the license! Please remember: a license for building does not cover the trades, there must be a specific trade license along with a building license.
