If you are one of the millions of home owners that has an attached garage as part of your home please be aware: there is a special danger in these homes. It can happen without notice; it could come at any time. You put the car in the garage, close the door, and forget to shut off the car! Tragically this has happened many times, often with the elderly, also with younger folks. It is IMPERATIVE that each home has a CO detector; it literally will save your life! These detectors protect you from faulty heating equipment, fireplace failures, and of course a forgotten running car. They must be placed in bedrooms, and of course a garage! Follow the manufacturers direction, please be safe.
