Anyone who deals with any business will tell you up front that honesty is the priority they look for. Of course, skill and expertise are vital, yet if the person is not honest that would negate any other qualities. Mankind has had a problem with honesty since the start of man’s descent into imperfection. I have seen some terrible results come to homeowners due to dishonest practices. The best way to protect yourself is to get it in writing! You need to be sure that you get what you pay for, so a specific contract with model numbers etc. will make sure of this. Word of mouth for a large job is just not going to work, just the fact that people forget details is enough to see the need to spell everything out.                                                          

       We see everyday that people lie without flinching. Just this week we have seen a world leader make statements and promises and just a few days later he contradicted himself and did not deliver his promises. So, with that in mind, whether it’s plumbing, electrical, and on and on, get it in writing!
