The Three Stooges opened this plumbers eyes, yes nyuck nyuck, the Stooges.
They had one of their famous short films centered around installing, of all things, a gas fireplace. I had always thought that these types of systems were relatively new, a kind of fad. When i saw this episode I realized that these gas fireplaces have been around for decades. I soon began to notice in many old movies and TV shows that these gas fireplace flames are ever present, notice next time you see a fireplace blazing in a film- I just saw one in an episode of Quincy, love Jack Klugman!
As far as the gas choice for the fireplace , this plumber still likes wood, nyuck nyuck!
